Hello? You brought my site down, and I can't get any communication. I need my site back up, and we need to coordinate.

I backed up 3 hours before you took the site down, and I can restore if you need me to. I don't want to jump in the middle without feedback. "Too many chefs in the kitchen."

My site has been down for over 4 1/2 hours, and I hear nothing. What's going on?

Somehow Helix Template was uninstalled. That's why occurred the problem. Now it has been updated and fixed. Thanks

Somehow? One of your developers (you?) was recorded logged into my site just before 3:00AM Eastern time uninistalling the Helix system plugin and installing . Probably to address the topic of this forum topic. All is well that ends well.

We still don't know how the reverting went wrong for you. Others could learn and hopefully avoid problems when they have to revert to 1.1.4 too.

No. I am not migrating to 2.x for as long as I can hold out. 2.0.1 was a nightmare I am not anxious to relive.

Neither Virtuemart or my LMS run properly if Bootsrap 4+ touches them, and I learned that running components in the component position still subjected them to Bootstrap. Consequently, I have both running under their own separate template on the same site.

This worked fine until 2.0.1. Then I found that Helix 2.0.1 was messing with my non-helix pages. I am guessing the new Helix System plugin is pushing some Bootstrap 5 on the whole site, including non-Helix pages. I have asked about this in a separate post (https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/5972), but I never got an answer from Joomshaper.

Your colleague dropped in on the other bootstrap 5 topic, and simply replied:

This did not answer my question, which was the whole point of the post. Grrr. I asked again. Nothing since. Double frustrating.

Hi. The Helix Ultimate plugin is used to output the template settings in the backend part. It definitely has no impact on the frontend and does not output bootstrap
