Error Editing Barber J4 HELIX Template Options

B

Bodo

Template 4 years ago

I did a new installation (Quickinstaller) with Joomla 4 (PHP 8). Template barber. If I now want to go to the Helix template settings, I get an error: 0 Call to a member function asXML () on null. See the screenshot.

What should I do? (please see hidden content)

Thanks & best regards

Hello. Is there a public solution to this? I'm having the same issue with Barber template - quickinstall.

Can we please either have a fix to Barber v2.00 or details of how to fix the issue reported here?

I have the same issue and don't want to open another topic, seems like there are already a few on this.

Hello there,

With the next update, the issue will be fixed.

Till then, please go to template folder, open options.xml file, you will find the xml version set to 2.0 in the very first line, change it to 1.0 and save the file. Clear the browser and Joomla cache and it will solve the issue.

Thanks!
