You need to use the hashtag without the hashtag. For example, you want to display images with #joomshaper Then insert joomshaper only(without the hashtag) on the hashtag options in Instagram Gallery addon.

I have added an SP Page Builder page with Instagram Gallery. I have used hashtag and it is working. Please check this page:

also, is this the image pop op layout or there is a css problem? it doesn't look right

I have shared issue with the developer and got the feedback. Our addon is working fine. Other hashtag works but only your hashtag does not. The issue is happenning because of Instagram. It does not allow posts with hashtags fewer than 100.
