Importing Pages Into Pagebuilder

SP Page Builder 4 years ago

Hi,

I had to rebuild a website on a new domain, so I exported all the pages. i then installed the same template with quickstart and went through the setup to make the template header, css, etc the same as the old website. i then went to pagebuilder and imported the pages I had saved.

I can see the format and i can view it on preview, but when i try to go to frontend edit, I am getting

Not Found The requested URL was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Thank you

Read my tip #4 from: https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/sp-page-builder-3/how-to-tips#how-to-backup-pages-created-in-sp-page-builder

About custom CSS from template, if you use custom.css file - just keep & reuse it. About Template layout - it can be exported as well.

This is a story for the whole article, not quick forum post.

forget that - pizza and beer!

I have another question, I have trouble fixing the topbar on mobile. i end up with positions topbar1 and topbar2 sitting on top of each other. it was fixed on the site www.abwddemo.com, but when i put it on www.awdtest3.com (and I did copy the css and changed the positions on the row to match what was on the original site, it still does not work. How do i make the row not wrap to the next line on mobile?

Appreciate all your help.

p.s (where do i send the pizza and beer)

On my projects - I just use Akeeba Backup, it's faster to delete not need content then add, install & set everything from the scratch.

i use akeeba, the problem was we have a menu to components that builds a product we offer called (QuickTools), using CG Isotope and weblinks. it displays links to canadian gov't sites. since we can't import our data into page builder it means we have to put this in (we can't import this product easily). for some reason, this caused an issue on abwddemo, so i had to start all over again on awdtest3 without restoring from akeeba. i saved all the pages as json but when i imported them, i lost pictures, settings, custom css, etc.

do you think pagebuilder will ever be able to handle imported content?
