Helix Ultimate 1 To 2 - Best Practice?

Helix Framework 4 years ago

I had a small site that is J3, though it is J4 ready. Since the site is small - only one page - I thought I would update the Helix Ultimate framework first, but was disappointed the minimal settings I had were simply overwritten. How would you suggest proceeding - I was aready dreading attempting this on some (much) larger sites and this does not improve my lack of confidence in a smooth process, that it will look like the 1.5 to 1.6 nightmare.

Advice from others who have successfully managed this would be helpful.

Can I have your admin access and information of which settings were overrided with this update, kindly?

Basically the header scheme and a small bit of custom css. A module was not assigned to the off canvas. Ain't much to the site.

My question pertains to why settings were overridden - the site is small enough for me to update manually. I just wanted to test whether this would translate to the newer version without losing basic settings or minor customizations such as module assignments and Helix Ultimate settings.
