404 Frontend Editor Error

SP Page Builder 4 years ago

Hi there, I recently took on a site that uses SP page builder pro. So I bought the license and input the new key into SP's settings but now the site has no CSS or styling of any kind. Whenever I try and use the frontend editor I get a 404 error. The website is jkosafaris.com (It is currently in a very ugly maintanence mode).

The 404 error I get is "The requested URL was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Joomla! 3.10.0 Stable. Joomla Platform 13.1.0 Stable

Please can anyone assist. Thank you.

That's weird, it's working fine on my side. The site is still up and running. Can you see the main site? https://jkosafaris.com/

That's a bit annoying. if it helps, this is what I see when I load the website up. It currently has maintanence mode enabled.

Ok, I have copied some of the code that I see when the page loads up. Please see below.

(function(){this.MooTools={version:"1.4.5",build:"74e34796f5f76640cdb98853004650aea1499d69"};var b=this.typeOf=function(b){if(null==b)return"null";if(null!=b.$family)return b.$family();if(b.nodeName){if(1==b.nodeType)return"element";if(3==b.nodeType)return/\S/.test(b.nodeValue)?"textnode":"whitespace"}else if("number"==typeof b.length){if(b.callee)return"arguments";if("item"in b)return"collection"}return typeof b};this.instanceOf=function(b,a){if(null==b)return!1;for(var c=b.$constructor||b.constructor;c;){if(c===a)return!0;c=c.parent}return!b.hasOwnProperty?!1:b instanceof a};var a=this.Function,c=!0,d;for(d in{toString:1})c=null;c&&(c="hasOwnProperty,valueOf,isPrototypeOf,propertyIsEnumerable,toLocaleString,toString,constructor".split(","));a.prototype.overloadSetter=function(b){var a=this;return function(h,k){if(null==h)return this;if(b||"string"!=typeof h){for(var e in h)a.call(this,e,h[e]);if(c)for(var d=c.length;d--;)e=c[d],h.hasOwnProperty(e)&&a.call(this,e,h[e])}else a.call(this,h,k);return this}};a.prototype.overloadGetter=function(b){var a=this;return function(c){var h,k;"string"!=typeof c?h=c:1>>0;c>>0;e>>0,d=0>a?Math.max(0,c+a):a||0;d>>0,d=Array(c),e=0;e>>0;cthis.length)return null;if(4==this.length&&0==this[3]&&!b)return"transparent";for(var a=[],c=0;3>c;c++){var d=(this[c]-0).toString(16);a.push(1==d.length?"0"+d:d)}return b?a:"#"+a.join("")}});

I have doubts about your hosting server. Cause, After huge investigation no solution found. But, When I have checked my localhost it works fine.

I have shared a akeeba backup via the google drive link. Please watch the video and check your localhost. Then contact your hosting provider.

Hi Toufiq, the server was an issue. It has been resolved, but I still get a 404 error when selecting Frontend Editor on the SP Page Builder Pro - Pages tab. Is there anything in the database that should be updated since the site was moved to a new server and host.

Delete the existing .htaccess file and rename the htaccess.txt to .htaccess

Ok, has done something. Now loading the frontend editor gives an error that says: "Unclosed string at position: 2784"
