Helix: Colors Not Updating

MS

Helix Framework 3 years ago

...and now I am trying to change in TopBar and Header and Footer etc. the colours and it refreshes (short blink), reset button appears, but no color is adjusted... Not even the predefined colors.... Not even after a restart of everything... Loosing nerves here, really.

Update: When I use the preset colours, only the logo and login color change, but nothing else, even if I have changed the color in the preset. Not talking about the custom colours, they don't work at all...

Hi there!

I have some suggestions for you! Reason can be one of them:

You may try to go in Advanced > SCSS > Compile SCSS to CSS. Once you're done with your colors you can remove it.

So, you might try toggling the custom style setting on/off during change to see if there isn't just an old file that's loading and isn't yet rewritten by the compile function.

You may try enabling compress the CSS and Javascript to get it to work.

Sometimes the main reason for not showing the changes is Adblock software installed on the computer. After disabling the Adblock software the changes are shown immediately.

Clear Joomla and Browser cache(Most important)

Hope this helps!

Best Regards

Thanks for you long answer, but still nothing, despite having a completely new installation of Helix and J4 between yesterday and today. Chrome has not addstopper installed, I cleaned cache, nothing... and changing that CSS thing hasn't helped either.
