Please go to this location: language/en-GB and copy en-GB.mod_sp_weather.ini file contents to language/overrides/de-DE.override.ini (If the file or location does not exist, then please create it). Hopefully, your issue will be fixed. You will see day name there like this

Unfortunately, no. You have to translate the strings manually.
