In frontend editing the save button keeps loading and nothing is saved.
I tried in the backend and after pressing save I get the error "Request failed with status 500" and changes are not saved.

Great to hear you were able to identify and resolve the issue. Increasing the database size limit in the my.ini file was a smart move — that setting often causes similar problems when it’s too restrictive. Thanks for sharing the update!
Please marked the issue as solved
Hello DJHans,
Sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing with the "Error Request Failed With Status Code 500" error.
To help resolve this, would you be willing to grant me temporary administrative access to your site? This will allow me to thoroughly investigate the cause.
Before you do, please ensure you've created a complete backup of your site to safeguard your data.
Looking forward to your response.
Best regards
I am building the site locally (Xampp server).
I made a backup and put it online and tried te edit and save online and there's no issue with saving , so it seems its only local.
I have to dig deeper howcome its local and not with the hosting online.
Thank you for the update. It seems the issue is specific to your local environment. Since the site works fine on the hosting server, the problem is likely related to your local XAMPP configuration. I recommend checking the PHP settings, file permissions, and any server-side caching that may affect saving locally.
I will , thanks
I figured it out.
The database maximum size was set too small.
When I upped it to 64m in the my.ini for mysql the problem was solved.
