Hello,
I’m encountering a Cloudflare Error 1015 (rate limited) while browsing your website.
Ray ID: 9e562edca884d473
Timestamp: 2026-04-01 08:21:55 UTC
Technical context:
- Browser: Chrome (also tested in Incognito, no extensions)
- Works fine on Edge (same machine, same network)
- Issue disappears instantly when switching to a 4G connection (different IP)
- No automated crawling or scraping tools in use at the time (manual browsing only)
From these tests, it strongly suggests an IP-based rate limiting or bot protection rule triggered on your Cloudflare configuration.
Questions:
- Which rule is being triggered here (rate limiting, bot fight mode, WAF custom rule)?
- Are your thresholds tuned to account for normal browsing patterns (e.g. multiple tabs, fast navigation)?
- Is there any fingerprinting difference between Chrome and Edge that could explain this behavior on your side?
It looks like a false positive from Cloudflare’s protection layer, possibly tied to IP reputation or request burst detection.
If needed, I can provide my IP and reproduce the issue.
Thanks for your help.
