bug with proof of work?

My proof of work captcha doesn't always work in my SP Page Builder contact form. Together with chatGPT, I looked for the possible cause, during which, after various tests, he suggested this might be a bug. I had to provide this information:

*Joomla: 6.1.2
SP Page Builder: 6.6.2
Captcha: Joomla Proof of Work (ALTCHA 2.3.0)

Native Joomla contact form:
OK

SP Page Builder Form Builder:
FAIL

Error:
can't access property "split", r is undefined

ALTCHA challenge endpoint returns valid SHA-512 challenge.*

Is this a bug? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.

Please, mention the page url where you face this issues.

Seconding this issue.

If I enable the Math captcha in the Contact Form addon, hitting send results in the little green "Successfully sent" notice underneath the form. The mail arrives immediately.
But if I switch to Proof of Work, no matter which setting in the Proo of Work plugin, hitting send will reload the entire page without any success notification. No e-mail arrives anywhere.

It appears to be specific to the Contact Form Addon. I tested Form Builder too and that one works fine.

I'm using: PHP 8.5, Joomla 6.1.2, SPPageBuilder 6.6.2

Please set the default CAPTCHA in the Global Configuration to CAPTCHA - Proof of Work instead of the current one.

This was reset in the general settings. This was changed during testing and forgotten to reset.

Unfortunately, this has no effect. The problem persists with this setting as well, and was already the case with this setting in the past.

Please try using a different browser and let me know if the issue persists.

I can fill out and submit the form without any issues on my end.

The problem occurs in various browsers, both regular and personal browsing. And sometimes it works for me, sometimes it doesn't. But customers of the company have also already reported to the owner that they are unable to send messages via the contact form.

When I test your form, I'm able to submit it successfully.

Could you please try testing it from a different computer or device? If the issue still occurs, please record a short screencast showing the entire process and share it with me. That will help me investigate the problem further.

Please find the videos under hidden content. This is currently in Firefox, but it also happens in other browsers. And not always... but quite often.

I have now tested this via the work computer (with a different internet connection), and the problem persists there as well.

Customers wishing to submit a request or make contact on the website have also informed the website owner that they are unable to send the response due to the captcha issue.

And strangely enough, it sometimes works, but more often than not it doesn't.

Is there any progress in this case?
The problem is still existed.
Joomla 6.1.2
Sp Pagebuilder 6.8
When I switch the Captcha into "Proof of Work", the contact form doesn't send the email.
