Bug With Proof Of Work?

My proof of work captcha doesn't always work in my SP Page Builder contact form. Together with chatGPT, I looked for the possible cause, during which, after various tests, he suggested this might be a bug. I had to provide this information:
*Joomla: 6.1.2 SP Page Builder: 6.6.2 Captcha: Joomla Proof of Work (ALTCHA 2.3.0)
Native Joomla contact form: OK
SP Page Builder Form Builder: FAIL
Error: can't access property "split", r is undefined
ALTCHA challenge endpoint returns valid SHA-512 challenge.*
Is this a bug? Thanks in advance.

If I enable the Math captcha in the Contact Form addon, hitting send results in the little green "Successfully sent" notice underneath the form. The mail arrives immediately. But if I switch to Proof of Work, no matter which setting in the Proo of Work plugin, hitting send will reload the entire page without any success notification. No e-mail arrives anywhere.
It appears to be specific to the Contact Form Addon. I tested Form Builder too and that one works fine.
I'm using: PHP 8.5, Joomla 6.1.2, SPPageBuilder 6.6.2
