Override For Helix Overrides

I'd like to have two or maybe three different article views with Helix3. Not sure how to override the existing article view from Helix. Is it simply making an override with the core Joomla function and rename the two files? And if yes, are they still there when I run an upgrade?

Hello Krachtstroom

Please go to this location: templates/shaper_helix3/html/com_content/article/default.php and override article view. It will be preserved even if you upgrade.

Hi Ofi,

Thank you for that. I pressume that I can simple copy default.php and rename it to something else?

Maybe a stupid question but I want to be really sure.

Yes, this will work. Only default.php file will be used. If you rename it to anything other than this, then this file will be ignored.
