Frontend: Video automatic preview

Asked by krokotil 4 years ago Last activity 4 years ago

Hello,
in the frontend no automatic preview is displayed video (mp4) if I have not deposited an image.

But when I, as admin, click on "Edit with SP PageBuilder" in the frontend to edit the post, it automatically shows a preview (without image).

This should also work in the frontend for users and visitors/guests.

We have about 35 video and rising. This is tedious in the long run.
What is please the solution for this problem.

Admin access are in the hidden content. thank you.

Hi there,

Thanks for contacting us. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you use own MP4 video then you have to use placeholder image for the video. Youtube can generate the preview.

-Thanks

Yes, I knew that.
Thought that a local mp4 video also works automatically with the preview.

I think it's a shame that something like this doesn't work automatically.
Vllt. is the something yes for the next update. Thanks.
