Page Builder Database Upgrade Does Not Go Away - SPPB Pro 3.8.6

Hello

I have (for the 1st time) the same problem mentioned at the beginning of the thread https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/7#qa-answer-64856 The maintenance action has no effect, I still have the notification. Normally the current version should have fixed the problem?

I'm using php 7.4.28 (but I'll have to upgrade to 8.1 soon), joomla 4.1.2, helix hultimate 2.0.7 and SPPB Pro 3.8.6. Database version 10.2.43-MariaDB Interclassification of the database latin1_swedish_ci Collation of the connection to the database utf8mb4_general_ci

I have a 2nd problem that may be unrelated but maybe it will help to understand (if not I open another thread). More annoying, I have difficulties to juggle between the backoffice and frontend pages to modify the content of a SPPB page! I end up with a blank administration page. This forces me to put back my .htacces => htaccess.txt. It seems to me that this is related to SPPB because for days I have been working only with SPPB pages

Regards

Go to the file location

administrator/components/com_sppagebuilder/helpers/traits/AuditTablesTrait.php

Find out this code

if (!in_array($this->getRealTableName(strtolower($name)), $installedTables))

And replace with this code

if (!in_array(strtolower($this->getRealTableName($name)), $installedTables))

-Thanks

Thank you for your intervention

1/ The problem of the display is solved; I imagine that it will be corrected in the next version?

2/ Since I have a problem to edit the addon "features box" (only on the home page as well in front-end when back-office)

I am blocked to finish the page and the site.

Hi Yes indeed I solved most of the other problem (which was not related to SPPB) by removing in the htaccess file the gzip directive below :

These directives are only enabled if the Apache mod_headers module is enabled.

This section will check if a .gz file exists and if so will stream it

directly or fallback to gzip any asset on the fly

If your site starts to look strange after enabling this, and you see

ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED in your browser console network tab,

then your server is already gzipping css and js files and you don't need this

block enabled in your .htaccess

I see that there are still other issues where I can't edit addons on the front-end! It's the 1st time I have these problems but it's also true that it's the 1st time I make a dozen pages with SPPB.

1/ It seems to me that the problem comes from the alerts I see in "inspect" mode. I put it in hidden mode because the site is still in development, but I would like to put it in production today.

2/ please also confirm that your hack will be incorporated in the next version?

Regards

HI

I thank you but I didn't solve the problem. I looked for "Inspiration" in the source code of the 2 urls mentioned. I did not find anything.

I didn't put a cache.

1/ How did you find that it's an image when with the firefox inspector, I find script errors?

2/ Are you sure that an image can produce so many script errors? a)

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'map') at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (sppagebuilder.js?5e8f2ace5729399f47cc9b4e25d0e198:13:24353) at e (jquery.min.js?3.6.0:2:30038) at t (jquery.min.js?3.6.0:2:30340)

HI I checked that it is each of the 4 svg images of the homepage that should conflict with your script (jquery?) I guess it's the same thing with the 2nd page :-(

It's true that it's the 1st time I use svg illustrations, but as it's a very good format. Can you improve/fix the possibility to use svg in your addons?

I think your svg file has problem. Cause, I have checked image addon with a svg image after disable your hero section. It has no issue.

Hi Thank you. Ok strange that this professionally made svg is bad. I think we should have done another test on a SPPB page because an image alone doesn't mean anything. I have other svg images that actually don't have this problem. I will try to find a solution because I have no more time before migrating it to production.

If not can you look at another thread, which must be a bit complex, as I never had any sollution on this same site for a week. https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/13334 Regards

Hi, I spent a lot of time and I don't think it's from the files. At first I thought it was a malformed svg. I disabled the 4 images => no error I activated and tested the 1st image as follows: I

  • re-downloaded the file from the site

  • changed the svg format to png, jpg and webp and uploaded each time

  • downloaded your tested image (above); /0,atoutweb/2022/04/13/nebo.svg Every time I get the error:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'map')
      at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (sppagebuilder.js?5e8f2ace5729399f47cc9b4e25d0e198:13:24353)
      at e (jquery.min.js?3.6.0:2:30038)
      at t (jquery.min.js?3.6.0:2:30340)
  • if I hide the addon, I don't get any more errors.

I will have to switch the site to production. Can you still report it to the developers to find a solution? Maybe I will put the webp file more stable?

Hello I'm sorry we don't understand each other. Did you understand

a) I have the same problem with your svg image?

b) rather than contacting the authors (because different!) if it's a problem with the svg, the image in webp or other format should solve this problem. No ?

Hello Yes the site is now on https://atoutweb.com/ I have to move to another project. I've spent a lot of time on this and my conclusion (barring new arguments) is that it's not coming from the images. Unless you have another solution, I'm going to start from a png illustration to webp. I will need at least this confirmation of preference? Regards
