Use Cassiopeia Search Results?

Hi, I am going to need to do an override of the search results, is that com_finder, will be my first [fear]. I want to add some custom fields in the results.

The Cassiopea search results would be a better starting point for me as it already display some of the infrmation I would like, like Type and Author

Is there away I can do that or do I just need to override the Helix one Thanks

Hi SPD,

you can copy/upload default Joomla files here:

plugins\system\helixultimate\overrides\com_finder\tmpl\search

remember about that change or change file permission from 644 to 444 after.

Cheers - just curious and pardon my ignorance but doesn't that override the Helix overrides? I was just reading through this article https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/helix-framework/helix-ultimate-2/template-views-override

.. which mentions - templates/shaper_helixultimate/overrides/com_content/article - as a place to create overrides or would that be if i was overriding the Helix overrides with just my changes as opposed what I'm thinking of doing which is using Cassiopeia overrides to override the Helix overrides

I hope that wasn't confusing becuase I can say for srure I have never typed 'override' so many times in my life :-) Thanks

Just a heads up in case other read this.

I copied the files into \com_finder\tmpl\search but that didn’t work. So I copied to the \com_finder\search\search and I saw the change.

I hope that was ok to do Cheers
