The J2store based on template are pending for the J2store update version. But, We are not getting any update from J2store. That's why it takes time to provide update. I think its better you can choose another template. We have so many templates which are already updated to Joomla 4.

I don't understand. MegaDeal II is based on VirtueMart and not on J2store. VirtueMart 4 is already available, compatible with Joomla 4 and PHP 8; I ask again, will Joomshaper update the MegaDeal II template?

This would allow customers to estimate and plan whether they would prefer to switch to another template, because the provider will force them to switch to php8 before then.

Customers usually ask because the hoster sends an email that the outdated version will be converted to a deadline and then no longer available!

The last time Toufiq wrote this, it took 10 months and even then only the statement came that the developers are now starting to work on, for example, Helix3.

MegaDeal II is based on VirtueMart and not on J2store. You have written several times: "It will be updated very soon". We have told our customers to wait. Now that Joomla 3 is no longer supported you tell us that you will not be updating the e-commerce templates. However, I see that you offer the "Tixon" e-commerce template with VirtueMart 3, but compatible with Joomla 4 and PHP 8. We can no longer deal with customers with errors and end-of-life warnings for their releases. E-commerce are delicate platforms and require reliable software. What should we do, abandon Joomshaper and turn to other more reliable developers?

However, it's worth mentioning that we are increasingly cautious about investing our valuable time and resources in third-party extensions. We've faced challenges with certain third-party extensions not aligning with Joomla's long-term support plans. For example, we have been requesting updates from one such third-party extension for nearly two years, which is concerning when their future plans do not seem to align with Joomla. Thank you for your understanding and continued patronage.

The only thing you can do is prey for an update and contact the CEO on facebook.
There you have the best chance to get in touch directly with hin.

Still waiting means more customers migrating to WP and WooCommerce. By now, for small e-commerce, we too are forced to offer WooCommerce. Automattic is a company that can guarantee long-term support. Third party developers for Joomla don't seem able to guarantee the same. The Joomla community cannot stand comparison in a sector such as e-commerce.

It would not be bad to update the e-commerce templates based on hikashop Organic Life, Glamour, to the current version of Joomla4 and php8.2, sppb and Helix.

Updating Megadeal II To Joomla 4x And VirtueMart 4x

Hi, Jens I see It could be a solution if the update doesn't arrive quickly. Changing templates is never painless, but at least we won't have to redo the site again.
