Horizontal Menu On Fixter Template Issue And Can SP Page Builder Access Footer2 ?

Hi:

With menu in [Horizonal] mode, the Helix [Basic] -> [Contact Info] in Module position "menu-right" presses the mobile number up against the right hand side of the menu.

Can't see how to move it further across to the other side of the layout, as Helix [Layout Builder] for this template doesn't show anything for the menu position or allow you to create it?

Also, it appears that footer2 can only be used for component or modules - not for an SP Page Builder Addon?

Hi there!

Thanks for your query.

If you are using predefined header, then custom CSS is needed.

Would you please let me know where do you want to see your contact info actually? Kindly give me a screenshot indicating that area. https://prnt.sc/zfHe8xZMsy9a

Header and footer doesn't include in the component area, thus edited through the template options. And you can edit the contents within the component area with SP Page Builder editor. However, you can create a SP Page Builder type module and put SP Page Builder addons there and publish that module in the Footer position. In this way, you can show SP Page Builder content in your footer.

Hope this helps!

Best Regards

Hi:

Ideally I'd like the Contact Info and [Free Quote] button to float to the righthand side of the template. IMHO this should have been the default when this template was created !

Screenshot attached.

Hi there!

Sorry for the delayed response.

Please use the following code in your custom CSS:

#sp-header .logo {
    flex: auto;
}

Note: Path towards custom CSS(Joomla 3): Extensions>Templates>Styles> Click on your current default template name then choose Template Options. Then find custom CSS within the custom code.

Hope this will serve your purpose.

Best Regards

Hi Rashida:

Thanks for that. I will test it out.

FYI: I think this piece of custom CSS should be added to the Fixter template as part of v2.0.1 !

Hi Rashida:

Unfortunatley the supplied Custom CSS code works but doesn't do what I want :-(.

I want the menu to stay on the left, but the Mobile, email, Social icons & [Quote] button to be on the right.

Thanks for the link.

You may use the following code in your custom CSS then:

#sp-header .sp-megamenu-wrapper {
    flex: auto;
}

Hope this helps!

Hi Rashida:

Thanks … That .css code fixed the problem.

This fix should be added to the default template in the next update.

Just a small visual issue … There should be a bigger gap (more blank space) between email address and Social Icons. See website.
