SP Page Builder Pro Install

Hello
I purchased SP Page Builder Pro today and when I went to install it I got the following message

Warning
JInstaller: :Install: Error SQL Table 'nameofmydatabase_v1.#__sppagebuilder' doesn't exist
Extension Update: SQL error processing query: DB function failed with error number 1146
Table 'nameofmydatabase_v1.#__sppagebuilder' doesn't exist
SQL =

ALTER TABLE #__sppagebuilder ADD catid int(10) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' AFTER published;

Error
Error installing component

Please help as I am interested to see if SP Page Builder will work for us and our site. Currently using Nicepage and wondering if there are better options out there

Hello,

Maybe some parts of it still there?

Kindly, search within your Extension>Manage with 'SP Page Builder', then if you found any instances, uninstall all of them. Clear your Joomla and browser cache, then try again.

Hi there!

Sorry for your experience.

Was there SP Page Builder component before? Would you please try the following?

  1. Make website backup (database at least)

  2. Uninstall SPPB from Joomla (All instances of it)

  3. Install SPPB again

It should help.

Hi Rahsida
I used to have SP Page Builder Lite installed but I already uninstalled that quite a few months ago.
It isn't listed anymore in any of my components menu's
I am just doing a new install of Pro today

That sorted it thanks Rashida

I searched in there for SP and there was an admin component leftover

Once I unistalled that and then tried to install the com zip file I purchased today all worked properly
