Change Menu Title

Template 3 years ago

Hello! I'm using Artion on https://josep.lautundluisa.at/. I like to change the name of the menu (when clicking on the hamburger menu icon). Now it says "MENU", I'd love to place to logo there. How can I achieve that?

Thanks!

Hello

Thank you for your query. In order to do this, you need to change the following file from template.

File: \templates\artion\headers\9-FullModal\header.php line: 102

Please note that this will require customisation which we cannot provide, as mentioned in our Support Policy.

Hello Ariba.

Ok, thanks. It works, but just for one word. How can I place a sentence there? ("Einfach machen lassen.") As soon as I use a blank space an error message appears on front end.

Thanks! Mia

Hello Gudrun

Please go to System -> Language Overrides and search for this constant HELIX_ULTIMATE_OFFCANVAS_MENU_TEXT. Then change the text.

Please create a file de-DE.override.ini in language/overrides and add the translation.

Go to your files. This will be final directory: public_html/language/overrides/de-DE.override.ini

Hello Ofi. We just fixed it: It doesnt work with overrides, because in line 102 in header.php is an "echo Text" argument used, not a call to a languagekey. But we yet successfully modified line 102, and it showes now the full text.

Just a last question: How to avoid to become the file header.php overwritten with a new update from the theme? We know from wordpress, there is a chance to use child-themes. Is this possible on Joomla and Artion template?

header.php will be overwritten with the update. In that case, you have to keep the backup of the file before updating.
