Kindly add the following css rule in csutom css section - this will disable the view button

.sp-simpleportfolio-btns .btn-view {
  display: none;
}

If you do not want to generate the view button at all then you can edit this file: "your_template_name\components\com_spsimpleportfolio\views\items\tmpl\default.php" & remove line: 92

Please make sure to always keep a backup before editing any code in file.
