Form Builder Didn't Send Mail - URGENT

Hello, I repeat a ticket from some time ago, which was not addressed by you because of a number of my problems. I have built with Form Builder a contact form but the system does not send any emails. The form is a Joomla form, edited with SP Page Builder. The email is the same one I configured and it works perfectly in the General Configuration of the site. I've tried various Recaptcha but that's not the problem either, it doesn't work with the solutions that work for me on other sites (normally Google Invisible V2 always works), in debug mode nothing out of the ordinary shows up, yet the emails don't start and the system says absolutely nothing. Now the site is up and stable. I hope you can solve the problem for me as soon as possible. Thank you, as always Marco

Hello,

I have been having trouble with several websites made with SP PAGE BUILDER PRO as well. Specifically some issues started about June, July, and Agust this year.

Without any modifications my custom forms (form builder) are not working (specifically the part when the addon is supposed to send an email).

The problem persists weather or not the redirection is enabled (the redirection works, but emails are not being sent). I cannot find the issue, it seems ajax request for sending email is not working. I already tried to update the template, joomla and sppb pro in some installations and problem persists.

I have tried to use it with or without SMTP without success . SMTP is being used in this site a couple of years now without any problems. SMTP tests from the Global Configuration all arrive well.

And I have not found a solution yet. Please Help

I´m attaching access to a production site below

Was there a recent update or something in this component that requires aditional configurations?

Thanks,, please keep me posted...

Leon Garcia, I've tried everything, ReCaptcha of all kind they exist, I've substitute JQuery with the 3.61 but nothing is happened. I'm very sorry that Joomshaper seems do not show any interest about this problem. I didn't resolve to rollback to Joomla 3.10 and SP PB 3.8 (that I prefer, at the present). Now I hope they will pay attention to our issue, and solecitate they by chat right now.

Thanks Marco,

I´ve also addressed this problem for some months now. Unfortunately, I haven´t heard response from Joomshaper either since June :(

And they do not respond with chat, they say it is only for sales.

I´m getting in a lot of trouble with customers with this, and had several times to use other Joomla components and do free work to help them to get full website functionability that I had as a guarantee before using this form builder addon.

Additionally Marco I am hosted in hostgator, I don´t know if that would be something in common we could address (I´ve already contacted support with them, they told me they haven´t been making any policy or technical changes to hosting plans, so in Theory that should not be a problem.)

Dear Joomshaper team,

Can you tell us how does the Form Builder work (technically)?

I think maybe we could check our hosting server or at least ask our hosting support to discard that the problem is our server blocking some script.

It looks like there is a lack of communication from the addon with the server, maybe it is being blocked by some policy or configuration that we can override somehow or at least with their support.

So please tell us what should we do to discard that the server is blocking this component.

or what other suggestions would the team have so we can troubleshoot this problem?

Hi Leon, I'm pretty sure it's not the server, because I have my own Windows Server 2019 machine first, now 2022, to which I haven't changed anything at all, and that component stopped working for me as well, so Hostgator I really don't think has anything to do with it. In the chat the Joomshaper girl told me that they turned it over to the developers and that they need time. The way they responded to me was not the most courteous, and that is very strange. I am angry because I am with stopped sites and I have to fix it too, because they were fine before. Also, I pay the subscription to Joomshaper to have solutions, not because I was asked for "patience." Do you happen to have an alternative solution to that darn Form Builder, a similar form that can be put up quickly and does the same job? I don't think they're going to fix it anytime soon anyway, but I have to deliver a site and get the ones already paid for by clients up and running. I repeat, it's strange the answer I received, yet the guys at Joomshaper are always very kind and prompt in solving problems, this time I have no idea what happened and, moreover, I think it's a stupid thing that it will be solved with little, precisely because up to a certain point everything worked fine for years...

Leon Garcia, I think I found the problem: you should not touch a single letter, changing it from lower case to upper case, for example, in the part where there are variables used in the header and in the construction of the email. Before (a few versions ago) nothing happened, now if you change something it's over, it doesn't work. I realized this, so I put a form builder addon, just put the site email and used the form builder as is, and it worked. I added one field at a time and it worked without any problems. You don't have to change the name of the fields (the ones in curly brackets) and you don't have to use capital letters. Now everything works smoothly for me, I put the various sites back together and got over the problem. This is clearly no thanks to the support I received. Try it as I did, and see: hopefully it will be the same for you and everything will return to working as before.

Hi, great Toufiq! I've resolved the issue: that was caused by using/changing field name and header section in Form Builder when I've add two other fields. Now it is all ok, all works fine, thank you! Thanks for all, as always Marco

Hi Toufiq,

Marco had his issue resolved.

Did you have a look at my problem? or if you had a recent update in the inner workings of this addon, because currently I can't use it with custom variables in any of my websites. The issue seems to be specifically when the header is customized it fails.

I already left my credentials and website in one of the first comments. I suppose you only had a look at Marco's site.
