Template 2 years ago

I am using the Indigo template hamburger styled menu but I am not able to get the off-canvas menu working on mobile.

It worked on previous template version but once we updated the template, it quit working.

Just to clarify. The [=] icon is not even showing up.

The version of Helix Ultimate that this site is running in 2.0.11. The template is the Indigo.

Yet I do not see that options that were shown in the link above.

Yes, I read through all the tips in the troubleshooting page.

The issue is that there is no "=" icon for the off-canvas menu when on tablet and mobile. The icon is missing.

We can not access the menu from mobile or tablet

Keep a backup and recreate the offcanvas menu again. Follow the documentation step by step and recreate that.

Hello,

I create a very simple menu. 1 menu item = single article

Created Menu Module = Off Canvas Position

Created fresh template style - to elimate all conflicting CSS

Still no "=" !

The link id {id="offcanvas-toggler"} is not even showing on the page.

I did a clean install of Joomla. Then install Indigo 1.5. Off-canvas menu works fine. Updated to Indigo 2.0 and the off-canvas menu disappears.

There is a flaw in Indigo 2.0

Did you try the quickstart pack?

Being that this is an active site with lots of daily visitors we needed to find a solution that would work without causing any disturbance to the users.

On the test site, we installed the Indigo 1.5 template, not the quickstart. Then upgraded to 2.0 and lost all off-canvas menus.

For the active site, we had to downgrade to 1.5 until we have a working solution or working template version.
