Delete Page Not Working

Component - Pages - Trash page
When I try to send a Page to trash, there is a confirmation message that the page has been trashed.
In some cases, as expected, the page disappears from the list of Pages. In most cases the page I want to remove remains on the list.
When I return to the Pages list, the page I tried to Trash is there and showing as still 'Published'.
I only wish to clear up some pages I created when testing Page Builder Pro. It's not urgent but this looks like a system bug.
Is anyone experiencing the same or aware of the problem?
P.S. 10-20 minutes after creating this post, I logged back onto my site and found the trashed pages have all gone. I can only assume there is a time delay. Trashing pages is not instant.

Thanks for contacting us and take our humble apology for the inconvenience . Would you mind to make a test page, trash it and clear the joomla cache . Sometimes, the cache can hold it. Let us know about it.

Accepted AnswerThank you very much. Usually I avoid page refreshes as it can sometimes lead to problems such as components being locked out. However, doing a browser refresh (in my case shift-command R in Firefox) clearing the cache makes the deleted pages disappear. It would be better if it was not necessary but it is a most helpful solution.
