thank you for the reply. Is there any work-around you can suggest at this point? I have edited some JavaScript to get the Tax displayed for the cart checkout, but have not yet figured out how to do the same for the Tax on the Final Receipt/Invoice.

You can have a look at JED (Joomla! Extensions Directory). If you find a suitable one, you can implement that.
