Right now only via PHpMyAdmin or simiar Database Manager. You have to find table prefix_sppagebuilder - then list all pages and edit record with User.

I do not agree.

You can go to Users -> Manage -> Select the Username -> In the "Account Details" register card you can change the "Name" field (this is the Author Name).

In SP Page Builder -> Pages now the column "Author" has changed.

It is not about changing the name of the author. It is about changing the Author (User) from one to another.

That's so far seems not possible through Joomla Dashboard.

Access to users you can change from User Manager (Joomla) or Page or SPPB Options.

I went to PHPMyAdmin and changed the Page author to my user that is set to author group/access level. He can get the front end page editor to load, but when you hit save it gives a 404 error.

Using latest Joomla Install 4.3.4 and SP Page Builder 3.8.10.

Any ideas how to restrict certain admins from editing all pages and just allow certain admins to edit certain pages via front end page builder?

Custom changes in database are on your risk only.

In SPPB 3.8.10 ACL works as it works, no improvement are planned in v3.x versions anymore. It's a closed chapter. The whole developer team is focused on SPPB 5.x only.

But maybe using PWT ACL (extra component) may help in your case.
