Yes, you have menu [=] but it has no defined color.... so use settings or

Thanks Paul. I had been through the troubleshooting guide and come up empty and frustrated. I have used the site to test a lot of extensions; sometimes they leave garbage behind. I also had pushed the limits of JC Optimize--too far, I think. I cleaned off all unneeded modules and plugins and removed Helix Ultimate. Reinstalled with success in regaining the burger menu. However, there's still something not quite right. I must unpublish all modules to set the template options, otherwise the backend disappears.

Javascript conflict may cause problem(s), unfortunately, this happens sometimes. Sometimes you just need to disable compression (CSS/JS) for a while to get things working again.
