ad 1) I have hack... that always worked, so far.

If your video file is too big to upload it thru SPPB media, for example, it has 10-25-50 MB:

  1. Create/Use a small video file 500KB (max 1MB) with orginal filename.
  2. Upload it using SPPB Media !
  3. Then using FTP tool or File Manager (cPanel) upload orginal (big) video file on that same location (path) that you have small dummy video. Yes, override that small file.
  4. After all SPPB should be able to see that file in browser

Alternative idea: You can always remember path to video file and manually put it in URL field. Even with https + domain name if classic path would not work.

I've spent over an hour trying different solutions.

Sometimes you have to think out the box. How to cheat the system. Not follow the rabbit.

I appreciate you reaching out. I sincerely apologize for this oversight. Will you please provide me the Joomla administrator access to check the issue? I will check & get back to you soon.

Note: Please share a screencast video about the full scenario.

-Thanks

hello Thank you for studying this case, I tried to make a video capture but I'm not good at it and I sincerely think that my screenshots should make it easier to understand my 3 cases. Regards

Hi

1/ video I can do the same as you. What I'd like to do is put the video file in the joomla directory that SPPB can't see!

/images/0_themes/video/Altius_travaux_en_hauteur_expertise_v2.mp4

2/ and 3/ https://pic.infini.fr/gallery#FMQ6Ts1e/uNKw1ABz.png

I hope this helps?

If you want to see the media files then you have to upload it using the page builder media manager. Thanks

Hello

1/ I'm very embarrassed.

I'm trying to move the (working) mp4 file to different directories /media/videos/... It's never recognized by SPPB. I've spent over an hour trying different solutions.

Can you have a look and publish it.

Thanks

ad 2) If color settings somehow do not work or are unavailable, use Custom CSS. If you would set ones they will be set permanently.

ad 3) Images in slideshow are used as background image - so they do not have link according to HTML/CSS syntax. Of course there are crazy CSS hacks for that, but maybe just make Title a link.

you can make title link as well, if no option fot that - use < a href="/.... before Title name.

But of course using a Button - is more reasonable for site guests.
