ERROR UNDEFINED

Helix Framework 2 years ago

I just wanted to do some minor changes in the Helix template about "opening times" Got "ERROR UNDEFINED" and Impossible to save.

PHP 8.1.13 Joo 4.3.4 Helix 2.0.15 SP PB 5.0.9

I have a similar site where it works perfect to change and save

PHP 8.1.13 Joo 4.3.4 Helix 2.0.13 SP PB 5.0.8

Q Is it the latest update of Helix to 2.0.15 - OR - the latest update of SP PM to 5.0.9 that makes it crash

Every time you make an update - it looks like there are new problems accruing Can you fix this ASAP please

If I may...

if you cannot save Helix settings, it's template releated not SPPB (besides you should have 5.0.10).

In some cases extra installed component or plugin or .htaccess rule lock from Template changes save and generates that error. This is not common as you noticed.

Thank you Paul for your concern The thing is that before updating the SPPB to 5.0.9 and Helix 2.0.15 the site was absolutely stable I hadn't change anything the last month. So after update when trying to do a minor change it was impossible to save. So my conclusion was - something is wrong with the Helix or SPPB update. And of course you are right, it has nothing to do with SPPB (but who knows)

I have checked your site on my localhost and it works fine. I think your hosting blocked to load the scripts of Helix.

  1. Temporray you can disable mod_security (for 3-5 minutes, in cPanel) - add & save changes in Template Options and then turn mod_security on again. It may help.
  2. Second idea, rename .htaccess file for 3-5 minutes and try add & save changes in Template Options.

I have deactivated the Mod Security and now it works perfect. So far

By the way Have anyone of you heard anything about the other Q I put about older iPads and iPhones that can´t show the site properly as on a desktop. There are a lot of people using 5-6 years old devices who can´t experience the full benefit of the site
