Frontend Editor 404 Page

For some of our SP pages we get a 404 page when trying to access the frontend editor. Any ideas on what may be causing this? We use 4SEF to handle our SEF urls, however these urls are not found.

I appreciate you reaching out. I sincerely apologize for this oversight. Try to check after disabling the 4SEF. If it doesn't work, please provide me the Joomla administrator access. I will chek and get back to you soon.

I see you turned off 4seo and 4sef. This prevented anyone from loging in. The login button points to a 404 page when you do that.

On my stagging site I am able to get to the frontend editor if I turn off 4SEF. However if I search for the url of the frontend editor of our homepage on the staging site in 4SEF I do not find it. Any recommendations?

I found the issue. There was a redirect stored in 4SEO. Thank you for leading me in the right direction.
