Content Migration - Helix Framework / SP Page Builder Staging Site

Hello,

I have a "Personal" membership from today.

We have three sites which I plan to upgrade to Joomla 4 using your Helix framework, "SP Page Builder" and probably "Newsberg" template.

I have started with the simplest of the three sites:

Active site (Joomla 3): https://www.rolandomontano.info/

Staging site with the following installed:

Helix SP Page Builder. Using shaper_helixultimate template. https://legitimatepatent.com/ Any pointers regarding what I might be missing or doing wrong would be very welcome.

I tried searching this "Forum" without much luck.

(Regarding this "Forum", it is not a propper one like phpBB3 or such in other Joomla forums, where you can dig and more easily find a lot of previous knowledge in a large accumulated stree structure.)

(1) How can I load all my existing Joomla articles into the "SP Page Builder" Pages area?

Your AI question service sugested using the "Content Migration" tab but that is not available. Maybe I did something wrong or there are steps missing in my staging site.

(2) Is there a way to have the "Newsberg" template with the various elements of the model/quickstart so I can modify and use them?

It is indicated that if you have an existing site you should not use the quickstart package.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Good day.

Hola Rolando,

In general:

  1. Indeed, there is no migrator from articles to pages, but it's not needed in most cases. But you anytime can manually copy content from article and put inside Text addon from SP Page Builder, then add other elements.
  2. Read: https://www.joomshaper.com/blog/how-to-update-your-site-to-joomla-4
  3. Upgrade from 3 to Joomla 4 is not always easy process. Sometimes even specialists it takes a few hours. That's why maybe consider hire somebody as helping hand to reduce stress and save time. In most cases problem after Joomla migration are caused on extra modules or plugins that are not J4 ready.
  4. You can install any template you want, even "Newsberg" template - but it's template without demo content and settings, and display current content.

Many thanks for your help.

I'm reading the manuals, because the problem was never migrating to Joomla 4 which was already done as you could tell from the backend.

I now have a problem with fonts, even though I did install de Google font API: Will search the manuals.

Good day.

You don't have to use Google API to use that same fonts. Becuase all those font are free and can be downloaded from many websites.

OK. Thank you.

I think you must have changed something, because the messages are gone. I'll try and find what it was.

Many thanks.
