Hi, the slideshow is 'gone' after updating from version 3.8.10 to 5.0.16.

I mean, it is there, but all blank. Can't import any slider from library also. It is just not visibable. Very weird. I see the addon with the bg image and the content but the page itself shows nothing but a white space.

And still the issue with the margings, SPPB 5 adds automaticly 30px space extra in textblocks/headings. You have to correct all pages by removing the 30px above or below the text/heading. OK, this is very annoying but I can fix this, this only takes a lot of time to correct all the pages in 3 languages. The slider is an serious issue.

J 4.4 / PHP 8.1.13 / tested local on a machine (Mamp Pro)

Good the rollback worked.

Any news? Installed also a backup on a testserver and also no slideshow. It is there in Page Builder 5 backend. Not showing up frontend.

Sorry for your issue.

Which template are you using there, please?

Is there any error in your console? If yes, a screenshot of the console area of the slider page would be better to have.

Moreover, did you already rolled back to your previous backup of the site? Live site URL is much important to investigate these issues as you can understand too I hope.

I did a rollback to PB 3 again and this seems to be fine. There are no errors in the console. Everything else worked as it should.

Now with another website a much bigger problem.. see my other post. SPPB5 just isn't bugfree. How can JS promote to switch to this version? No updating to SPPB5 for me upcoming periode. I work enough with SPPB and Joomla to see what is stable and what is not.

In order to fix this updating problem asking for the jpa file would be a thing to start. When an addon isn't there after the update someting isn't right and happens during the update.

With a jpa file the dev team can take all the time and investegate as they wish. My idea.

As long this problem arrises there is no way to update from 3 to 5 with this website.

Hi,

Somehow when I set Akeeba config to ZIP it saves the file as JPA. Dunno why. When that is also fine then there is a link to the file.

In the hidden part the download link with details.
