Dear Support Team,
I recently took the plunge and upgraded to the latest version of SP PageBuilder (5.1.18) after much consideration. I've noticed significant improvements over the previous version I tested (5.0.6). However, I've encountered a number of minor issues, despite this version being perfectly suitable for production use.
The main issue arises with the management of the browser tabs causing some frustrations . Allow me to elaborate: I created a new article in Joomla, adding the desired tags along with all the necessary SEO and OpenGraph data. After saving the page and proceeding to the content with the Backend editor, SP PageBuilder prompted me to save my page before using its features. Upon saving, SP PageBuilder opened a new tab where I could add my content. After finishing, I found myself with the article opened in multiple tabs, leading to confusion about whether to save the article, risking overwriting updated data with content from old tabs. It would be much better not to open new windows each time SPPageBuilder is requested...
Additionally, when creating associated pages in the article editor (my website is trilingual), the links to the other languages seem to get lost. I find myself having to exit the page and recreate links with the associated pages. This is not a deal-breaker but does require a change in routine.
Another minor yet frustrating issue is the formatting of text blocks when pasting content from the local database. The first paragraph formats correctly according to the paragraph definitions, but from the second paragraph onwards, the system applies fonts, sizes, etc., that I did not specify. Here is what I mean...:
p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Arial;"
(As code is not allowed here, i removed most of the code... as the form keeps sayint "invalid token") but I guess you understand what I mean.)
. Therefore, I have to enlarge the editing screen and reapply the "paragraph" format manually. It's inconvenient that this isn't possible on the main screen, where only the A!-A6 tags are applicable.
I appreciate any assistance you can provide to resolve these issues, which would greatly enhance the user experience and efficiency of SP PageBuilder on Joomla.
Best regards,
Jean-Marie Putz
