You are unfortunatly not alone having saving issues with the new SPPB 5.1.8 and above. which browser are you using? for me the backend editor does not load anything on chrome and not everything on Edge. Frontend works fine just the settings from the page are not saved. Same configuration as yours under php 8.1

I did make several tests again and have following bugs:

Page Overview:

1. going to Pages does not load all the pages first. You have to change the Filter settings to published to find all.
2. trashing or deleting pages does not work. Pages still there.

Editors (F)rontend / (B)ackend:

1. On both editors the SEO settings from the page are not saved or at least are deleted as soon as you save the page.
2. Load to Edit page Backend :

• Chrome browser -> Page is empty.
• Edge browser -> Page is the previous version

3. Changes from the pages are not saved in Backend.
4. Saving changes on Frontend kills the SEO info from the page.

Perhaps can an admin make a global issues Post for the SPBB 5.1.9?

Everything works well for me in frontend and backend. Perhaps some browser extensions affect this. Run the browser with disconnected extensions and check.

Or things like Joomla chache plugin, Cloudflare, JCH Optimize and similar, can be reason of these problems. When you edit the site, any caching should be clean and OFF.

Hey pavels, thanks for your contribution! unfortunatly i did check this. also clear the complete cache. unfortunatly this did not resolve the issue. which versions are you using and which browser? (joomla, helix, Page builder and PHP) ?

this is a brand new install. nothing installed just the page builder. Caching is OFF

Never use the latest PHP version. This is only for the developers of applications so that they are one step ahead or for sites manually written by an experienced developer. For production sites based on ready-made solutions, use the version no more than the penultimate.

It is not in PHP settings, but in server settings

So... i was able to solve the problem doing this:

• disable mod_security on host.

• on chrome the issue was also solved using the cache killer add-on.

• • in the htaccess:
