Hello!

I can´t migrate SP Page Builder from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4. I use application JMigrator. Everything else has been migrated, included all content, but the databases has not been migrated. Therefore there are no pages of SP Builder on the new site.

Where could be an error?

Thanks!

This is my site after migration: https://dialog-komunistickylist-migrace.online/

Ahoj Robert,

  1. As you know We are not support of JMigrator extension.
  2. But if on both sites you have that same SPPB version, maybe export-import tables from database.
  • prefix_spmedia
  • prefix_sppagebuilder
  • prefix_sppagebuilder_addonlist
  • prefix_sppagebuilder_addons
  • prefix_sppagebuilder_assets
  • prefix_sppagebuilder_colors
  • prefix_sppagebuilder_fonts
  • prefix_sppagebuilder_integrations
  • prefix_sppagebuilder_languages
  • prefix_sppagebuilder_presets
  • prefix_sppagebuilder_sections

Those are from SPPB 5.x, in SPPB 3.x there were only 4 tables as I remember.

Ok, great, thank you very much for your reaction.

Apparently I didnt expresed myself clearly. I, respectivly JMigrator, moved all content except all SPPB content including categories, pages, articles, media.

Ok, now I know, that SPPB doesnt support JMigrator.

Would you please advice me, how can I migrate - as smothly as it possible - all SPPB content from Joomla 3 into new Joomla 4?

I use 5.2.5 v. of SPPB on both websites (on two different servers provided by one provider).

Thank you very much in advance.

P.S.: Of cource I can export and move all mentioned tables from the database, but Im afraid that move alone will not solve the issue as such.

If on both sites you have installed SPPB Pro - they use database tables to manage content, so if you moved tables and renamed prefix to new one used on 2nd site - they should work.

of course you can export-import page by page.... but it will take you 1h or more if you have many sites.

In my link there is tip in the box, read it.

Support doesn't include touching client database, so my offcial help ends here.

Hello Mr. Frankowski,

I continue in my "migration journey"... I just finished what you adviced me last time. I moved MySql databases, I manually set all SPB categories & manually export/import SPB pages from old to new website and then by the JMigrator migrated all content unrelated to SPB to the new web.

Then I instaled Helix Framework as well as template & Newsberg template, which I set as default template.

Of cource I check out all updates and settings as well as database if its stable. Everything seems to me be like a charm in admin part.

But on public site now I get this warning:

"Warning: Attempt to read property "template" on null in /www/doc/www.dialog-komunistickylist-migrace.online/www/plugins/system/helixultimate/helixultimate.php on line 218 Default Layout file is not exists! Please goto to template manager and create a new layout first."

But I already have set new layout, respektively template (Newsberg)...

There is something which I missing here - can you please navigate me one more time?

Thank you very much for your time and effort.

R.K.

About new issue:

  1. Make research on forum, we had similar cases in the past
  2. Create a new topic, please.

Thank you, Paul!

I went through the forum, but didn´t found any topic releated sufficiently to my problem. So I´m going to create a new thread in the Forum...

Hope see you there.
