Video Problems

I have two problems when trying to get a video at the website I'm building right now:

When using local video (MP4) I can upload a video, it gives a message that it is uploaded (I also tried through FTP) but then it is not found in the Media Manager. I look in Folders - Video and it only shows 1 of the 3 videos in there.

When using Vimeo video I get red padding/margin above and under it. I want the video to start directly under the menu and keep that also when wathcing at tablet or phone.
My video has a strange size, 2048x858 pixels. I assume that should not be a problem.
