Please set the Akeeba Backup file format to ZIP and then take the backup again. By default, the backup is done on JPA format. I need the ZIP format. Please go to Akeeba Backup configuration and set the file type to ZIP.

I have got the response from the development. There was a third-party plugin conflict. I have disabled this plugin and now frontend editing works fine.
