Broken Dropdown-icon & No Access To Template Files

In my menu's navigation area I've placed a drop down menu. Since the last update there was automatically placed a drop-down icon, yet it's just a ugly square. On Firefox i've found out that it resembles the Unicode f107. which is the usual code for a 'normal' dropdown icon.
I couldn't find a way to edit this (broken) icon into another. Is there a way to change this icon? if so, where could I do that.
I've also found out that I can’t access the files of my template located at /templates/shaper_helixultimate. When I try to open for example the CSS file, I get the error "There has been a mistake. 3 arguments are required, 2 given".
Is there a way to fix this?

About 2nd, please share link to screenshot. But remember that we are not Joomla Support. So we are only responsible for our code, not issues with Joomla features/tools. File edition you can do via PhocaCommander component, FTP or File Manager from cPanel. It works always!
