I dropped and reinstalled my xampp server and retried the Quickstart install which failed again with the same error (The installation process has failed). I then dropped and reinstalled my xampp server and downloaded the vanilla joomla 4.4.5 stable release. I was able to install joomla 4.4.5 on my xampp server with no issue. So it seems that the problem lies with your Quickstart package. Please assist in getting this resolved.

Hi, Sorry, haven't been able to work on this for awhile. Following up on your last response, I'm not clear what you're asking me to do. Do you want me to do the install of Akeeba backup on a new installation of my xampp server (the same way I was trying to install your Quickstart)?

Hi, While waiting to hear back from my last question, I went ahead and did a clean install of my xampp server, then downloaded and unzipped the Akeeba Backup Quickstart. From my browser, I was able to access the Akeeba Backup index.php page with no issues. Thanks, Jim
