When I want to make a purchase and pay with Paypal it gives me this

Test Mode: If you are using PayPal's sandbox (test) mode, make sure that it is enabled properly. Conversely, if you are using the live mode, ensure that the sandbox mode is disabled.

SSL Certificate: Verify that your website has a valid SSL certificate installed, as PayPal requires a secure connection for transactions.

mod_security: Disable mod_security temporarily on your hosting server to see if it resolves the issue, as it can sometimes block PayPal’s responses.

Update Extensions: Make sure that your JoomShaper EasyStore extension and Joomla are up to date with the latest versions.

I get this error message too when trying to use PayPal!

Check PayPal Configuration: Ensure that your PayPal credentials (API username, password, and signature) are correctly entered in the EasyStore settings.

There IS NO OPTION for API username, password & signature within the EasyStore Paypal plugin! The only option is email address - for which I have entered the sandbox email address supplied by Paypal in their Application page.

This issue clearly needs more looking into by JoomShaper and DOCUMENTATION UPDATING if it is incorrect!

You should use Merchant Email address whe your site production mode.

In PRODUCTION mode, yes; but NOT when in SANDBOX mode.

Or, does SANDBOX mode simply NOT WORK in EasyStore???

Sandbox mode is a testing environment provided by PayPal that allows developers to test the integration and functionality of PayPal's payment system without processing actual transactions. I think now it's clear.

Sanbox mode for testing purposes. Before going to production mode user checked the function works or not that's why paypal introduce the sandbox mode.

I'm perfectly aware of what Sandbox mode is for and how it works.

WHAT DOESN'T WORK IS THE EASYSTORE PAYPAL PLUGIN - You need to help us customers get this working!!!

SO - Please explain PROPERLY how the EasyStore PayPal plugin is supposed to be configured, in both LIVE and SANDBOX modes (they will be different) and then help your customers when we tell you the plugin DOES NOT WORK!

Currently it is set to try LIVE transactions to prove that TOO IS BROKEN!

Here's a hint - you've not provided ANY documentation about the PAYPAL settings needed for EasyStore to talk to and receive info to/from Paypal.

You need to follow this URL of PayPal. Your current currency doesn't accept PayPal transaction.
