Adding To Images Causes Image To Disappear In Newsberg Template

When adding <a href> links to images in the Newsberg template using HelixUltimate, the image disappears but the "src=" code still exists in the content. Images appear correctly without using <a href> links.

The Newsberg template is COMPLETELY USELESS without the ability to link URLs to images.

Please resolve asap. Please see hidden content for URL and credentials.

Thank you for your help to resolve this issue which was caused by AdGuard Adblocker. I added my domain to the allowlist and the images are appearing fine now.

My apologies for wasting your time with this. Thank you for your prompt attention and assistance.

NOTE The Revibe template does not have this problem with Helix3, so there must be something in the HelixUltimate framework that is marking <img> tags that have <a href> tags as ads that are being blocked by AdGuard (and possibly others?). You may want to look into that.

You are welcome 😊

Helix Ultimate is more advanced than Helix3. However, we might look into this. Thanks for your feedback.

I have a humble request. It would be very kind of you if you can manage some moment to give us feedback on

  1. Joomla Extension Directory
  2. TrustPilot

This will inspire us to improve.

Hello GinA

In which image, you want to add links? Please share a screenshot of your issue to understand it better. Take a screenshot and share via any platform. For example: Lightshot or Imgur

Best regards

I want the <a href> code to work on EVERY IMAGE. You need to upload an image to my demo site and try to add <a href> link to the image to see what happens. I'm too busy to do your technical work for you.

Where should I upload the image? In media or SP Page Builder Media Manager? I have uploaded one image but don't know what to do with it to get the issue.

I will wait for your free time.

I just created a new article titled "Test Article" and added an image to the body/content on this page: https://stuffigottahave.com/demo/index.php/business-blog/test-article.

I have taken screenshots of each step to show you how the image disappears when adding URL <a href> links to the image.

PLEASE REVIEW THESE SCREENSHOTS CAREFULLY.

You can clearly see the code <p><a href="/zstacklife.com/products/z-stack?ref=SIGH" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><img src="/images/2024/10/23/zstack-20.png" width="255" height="511" loading="lazy" data-path="local-images:/2024/10/23/zstack-20.png" /></a></p> but the image has disappeared.

In this screenshot of the Test Article and the Console, you can see the image DOES NOT APPEAR ON THE PAGE, but the src= code for the image and href link still exists.

I have checked your site. The images are there. I can see it on both admin and frontend. The link is also working fine. Please check the screencast in the hidden content.

It could be a cache issue on your end. Please clear your Joomla cache and Browser's cache and then check. If possible, then check with a different browser.
