Blog Layout Cannot Be Changed In Menu, Nor Template

Visualin Template. I cannot change the layout be it in the menu nor in the visualin template blog tab. It seems stuck. Can you please advise?

Accepted AnswerWe are trying to create a 3-column layout so we can use a module to the right. So in effect there will be a 4 column layout. However, putting 3 column in the menu blog option doesnt work, nor does putting 3 column in the blog tab of the template. nothing seems to affect it.

The layout has been overridden for the Visualin template, which is why it doesn’t work with other layouts. If you’d like, you can replace the current layout with the default one from the Helix Ultimate template, but this will remove the original Visualin layout.
location: templates/visualin/html/com_content/category/blog.php
replace with original helix ultimate layout: blog.php.zip
Alternatively, you could install the Helix template and assign it to the blog page. Thanks.
