If you could kindly provide your site Akeeba Backup with J2Store, then I would try the migration on my localhost. It would greatly help me investigate and address it more efficiently.
Please take a full site backup with Akeeba Backup in ZIP format and share here. Follow this tutorial. I will check it on my localhost.
The option to show category titles is not available. We are aware of the issue. We will include to add Showcase Category option in the menu item in the future versions.
