Nuron Template Not Compatible With PHP 8.2

Could you please urgently update the Nuron template to ensure compatibility with PHP 8.2?

Joomla has started issuing warnings that PHP 8.1 will soon be unsupported, so I upgraded to PHP 8.2 expecting the Nuron template to be compatible. However, I encountered several errors during the upgrade and suspect there might be more issues.

Here are some of the errors I’ve identified so far:

Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property HelixUltimateFeatureLogo::$position is deprecated in /var/www/vhosts/domain/templates/nuron/features/logo.php on line 41 Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property HelixUltimateFeatureLogo::$load_pos is deprecated in /var/www/vhosts/domain/templates/nuron/features/logo.php on line 42 Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property HelixUltimateFeatureMenu::$position is deprecated in /var/www/vhosts/domain/templates/nuron/features/menu.php on line 42 Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property HelixUltimateFeatureMenu::$load_pos is deprecated in /var/www/vhosts/domain/templates/nuron/features/menu.php on line 43 Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property HelixUltimateFeatureSocial::$position is deprecated in /var/www/vhosts/domain/templates/nuron/features/social.php on line 36 Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property HelixUltimateFeatureSocial::$load_pos is deprecated in /var/www/vhosts/domain/templates/nuron/features/social.php on line 37

It seems the template relies on dynamic properties, which are deprecated in PHP 8.2.

I’d greatly appreciate it if this could be addressed as soon as possible to ensure compatibility with PHP 8.2 and avoid further issues.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Whilst I could provide you with admin access to fix the current instance, wouldn’t the same issue arise again the next time I update the site? If the template isn’t updated to be fully compatible with PHP 8.2, it seems likely that future updates will continue to break the functionality.

For this reason, I believe it’s crucial to prioritise fixing the template itself as a matter of urgency. This would provide a more permanent solution and ensure compatibility going forward.

Dunno if it is the case here but had more websites that don't run on php 8.2 but runs mooth on 8.3

Thanks robert. In this case Creation of dynamic property is deprecated, so doubt that it would be working in 8.3 - I maybe wrong of course :)
