Migrating The Site From A Subfolder In Joomla Leads To Error

Hello,

I worked the website in a subfolder, but when changed to main folder I got an error: Attempted to load class "Helper" from namespace "HelixUltimate\Framework\Platform". Did you forget a "use" statement for another namespace?

Using joomla 4 (up to date) Helix template and Pagebuilder

Kind Regards,

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this oversight. Re-install the Helix system plugin and check again.

Could you kindly grant me access to your Joomla administrator area so that I can investigate the issue you're experiencing? Prior to providing access, please ensure that you have backed up your site. Additionally, it's important to note that providing login credentials is entirely voluntary on your part; we respect your decision either way. However, if you do choose to share the login details, it would greatly expedite the resolution process. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please update your PHP version 7.2 to 8.0 or 8.1. Thanks

Do you think this will work? Because the site was working fine in the subfolder, and the PHP version was 7.2. After moving from the subfolder to the main folder then the problem started.

We were staying at 7.2 because of some modules on the last joomla site.

Please provide the Akeeba backup ZIP file via Google Drive. I’ll review it on my end and update you after my investigation.

Is this what you are asking for?

It is the subfolder backup, so you will need to reconfigure the configuration.php for the paths.

var $log_path = '/home/username/public_html/tryjoomla/administrator/logs'; var $tmp_path = '/home/username/public_html/tryjoomla/tmp';

Change to:

var $log_path = '/home/username/public_html/administrator/logs'; var $tmp_path = '/home/username/public_html/tmp';

Ok, it looks like it should. What seems to be the problem on our end?

Should I still do the Akeeba?

Changing the htaccess file can lead to error 404 or to the long page of errors in the first place.

the .htaccess from today leads to error 404,

while the old file from december leads to the other many error page.

don't know if this is related.
