Hello, i try to set up a section with 4 videos included ... i can setu all - bu ti did not find any setting for presenting the video in the correct size.

The buttons of each video are in the correct width - but the poster (has in original also the correct size) will only show in a very small version - too small.

Please let me know the correct settings. Scroll down on given page ... it is above the green area with the trees.

Thank you

Hello Frank,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

After reviewing your video, I noticed that its aspect ratio appears to be 16:9, similar to YouTube short videos. To fix the issue, try using a full-width video. This should help display correct video also poster image.

Let me know if you need further assistance!

Thanks!

Hello, thank you for your response. But there are a bunch of videos - which are all created as shorts - so they are vertical. There are no other videos than those ... but they need to implemented into the page. So i need to use another system? Hopefully not - i think it is possible to implement this.

In these days, many companies are more an more also realizing videos in this, it would be great next step, to support those videos also.

What do you and the team of joomshaper think about this?

thank you! Best regards Frank

Hi.

You can use CSS

.mfp-iframe-holder .mfp-content {
    max-width: 1200px !important;
}

Hi.

Add this to Page CSS field or Helix CSS field, or custom.css file (best place) and this will work. When editing CSS, any caching and compression should be turned off. Disable this in the Helix settings, clear Joomla cache, and clear your browser cache.

Thank you again - but it does not work. I placed this code

.mfp-iframe-holder .mfp-content { max-width: 1200px !important; }

wherer possible - onside the item, on page and also on template custom css. And i added it to custom.css in template.

No change.

Any other idea? or is the code wron? Or do i have to set the, which css has to work inside the item or similar?

Thanks a lot!

This must work. I haven't seen that you added this code anywhere. And now you have redesigned it with embedded code through a module. This approach significantly worsens the page loading speed.

Hello Frank,

Thank you for sharing your feedback! I understand the importance of properly supporting vertical (shorts-style) videos, as they are becoming more common across platforms.

At the moment, SP Page Builder doesn’t have a built-in setting specifically for vertical videos, but we appreciate your suggestion. We will discuss this with our team and consider it for a future update.

Thanks again for your valuable input.

Best regards,

Another problem ... in the moment a user oprens the popup and the video starts to lay, on a smartphone it is really mall (as it is in horizontal frame ... BUT - on letz top is the button for opening a video in full screen.

that does not work. By klick / tab on that button the video disappeared.

Bug or feature?

I am using a massive amount of time to realize a page witth a few videos - hopefully not to add other external video-plugins / extensions rathern than to have a solution with the builder.

But i dont find a solution for vertical videos (shorts)! Of course the customer does not switch to procude both versions of videos-

So, is there a solution underway? Or need i buy other extensions?

thank you!

It looks like you are using a custom module on your page rather than our video addon. Could you please confirm?

If you’re not using our video addon, the issue may be related to the custom implementation rather than the builder itself.

Thanks
