If I may....

Indeed, in general is not used in Joomla 5, but.... you may not know that but:

• Some our users installed SPPB 5 also in Joomla 3.10, and use it with Search component..
• There is working "old/improved" Search component for Joomla 4 (github), and some users still use it.

So by now, becuase of legacy purposes, we keep it. But any webmaster can disable that plugin in less than 30sec. All clear now?
