I have found the problem, this is related to joomla 5.3 files folder feature on media manager. you can replicate it from your side following these steps

Hi, Same issue here. Can not choose where to put medias and can not choose a media in another folder than "files" in edition mode, can not create a new folder. You can make all of that in the component page media manager, but no access to this folder in edit mode(folder path not found !) Little bit shame.

Apologies for the inconvenience. Our development team is actively working on the issue, and we expect it to be resolved in an upcoming update.

In the meantime, as a temporary workaround, please set both the "Path to Files Folder" and "Path to Images Folder" to images under Media Settings prnt.sc/oE4XK5x-pcAP.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. Thank you for bearing with us.

Hi, Okay. I can create a folder in the right location, upload media, rename it, and delete it (using the two buttons (top right and 3 dots). But I can't delete the folder using the top right button (error: you don't have the required permissions), but I can use the 3 dots. Good for me. Thanks.
