Template Update Of Wayne Corp

Hello,

I manually updated the template Wayne Corp, which we use at our website from 2.0.0 to version 2.0.2 (according to instructions in https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/joomla-templates/wayne-corp/template-update). I expected that the existing template would be installed over the old one. However, it installs as a new template (see here ).

We did some changes to the files of the "old" template style, i.e. version 2.0.0 (various index.php adjustments fpr oggoel tag manager, loading of custom css-file, also we added our custom css file override.css) . Now I am wondering:

  1. which template is currently used (still the old one with 2.0.0 - I assume so due to changes still in effect we did in the old template style files)?
  2. how do i "switch" to the new one (2.0.2)?
  3. do I need to manually integrate changes in index.php to the new template and also copy over the override.css?

Thank you in advance and best regards,

Sascha

Thank you for reaching out to our technical support forum. I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing.

Please export your template settings and import on the new template. Also, update your changed files to the new template. In this way, you can use the latest template and delete the old version. Make sure that you have a full site backup before deleting the version for safety.
