Definitely, we will update the templates to latest PHP and Joomla versions. Please allow us some time so that we can test and update the templates. Updating nearly 150 templates will take time. Unfortunately, we do not have a structured roadmap to share.

Newsberg template Joomla 5 Quickstart is not available. You can install Joomla 4 Quickstart and update to Joomla 5. It will work. We have checked the compatibility. I will ask the team to update the information on the changelog.

Please do not go for Helix V2. It is very outdated and will not be updated in the future. Helix was the first framework from us. Then we have released Helix3 and now the latest is Helix Ultimate. It would be better if you select a template with Helix Ultiamte framework. It will be regularly updated. Yesterday Helix Ultimate got an update for example.

I have to agree, Templates based on Helix II (v2) - are dead end, no support anymore (Support Policy). Old times! Change to different template before Joomla 3>4>5 Upgrade. Remember to disable all old plugins before that process.

In each template description there is info about what Joomla it supports. Some users need access to old templates in case of an emergency on their old website (hacker attack). But probably we will remove some oldest soon.

In big short, focus on templates based on Helix Ultimate. 0.O
